“The 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Courtelongs sports a very light reduction on the nose. Touches of struck match, lemon verbena and saffron emerge with time. The palate is smooth and slightly more viscous than the domaine’s other ’19. It’s very pure with orange pith and peach, light spicy notes gathering pace towards the finish. With very good persistence, this should mature well in bottle.”
