L’Esprit is the second wine of Domaine de Chevalier, one of the leading estates of Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. The planting of young vines in 1986 was the catalyst for the creation of a second red wine at the domaine, and this is a delicious blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 10% petit verdot from the superb 2016 vintage.
