“The 2015 Brunello di Montalcino is a sensational release from Caparzo in this vintage. Ample and expressive in its sensory profile, it shows nuances of red plums, red flowers, cloves and wild myrtle, with a wonderful Mediterranean herb character. This is medium to full-boded with well-extracted ripe tannins enveloping the palate and luminous essence and character on the finish. Excellent today, but should become even more impressive as it evolves over time.”
