2015 Laurent-Perrier Brut Millesime Champagne

£67.00

“This is in a new bottle, like the stout ones used for the rosé and blanc de blancs. This is very structured with a density and richness with hints of strawberry to the apple character. Bubbles turn fine textured at the end. Delicious flavors of biscuits and dried apple in the finish. Special character to this because of the very ripe vintage. Disgorged in November 2021. This is half chardonnay and half pinot noir. This can age well due to the phenolics.”

Product Description

Laurent-Perrier was established in Tours-sur-Marne in 1812 and was the first family-owned independent Champagne House. The name “Laurent-Perrier” was created by Mathilde Emilie Perrier, widow of Eugène Laurent, who combined the two family names after the House was expanded. Her daughter inherited the House in 1925 and sold it in 1939 to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt. The latter, widow and mother of four children, acquired the Domaine Laurent-Perrier and ran the business while two of her sons, Maurice and Bernard, joined the French Resistance.

Laurent-Perrier has made the demanding choice of only producing Brut Millesime in the greatest vintages in order to create a rare and exceptional champagne, characteristic of the House’s style.
