“This has a vibrant ruby colour with violet reflections, gourmet touches, firm black cherry and raspberry fruits and a wet stone texture. The Fourcas plateau dominates the Médoc at an altitude of 42 metres. It is the oldest geological layer of the Médoc, nicknamed the “roof of the Médoc”. The Listrac-Médoc appellation is one of the 6 prestigious communal appellations of the Haut-Médoc. With Margaux, Moulis, Saint-Julien, Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, they constitute the best terroirs.
Currently holding HVE 1 certification, Château Fourcas Dupré has set itself the goal of reaching level 3 of this certification (maximum level) by 2023.
