“Aromas of citrus, wet stone and a delicate whiff of hawthorn waft out of the glass. On the dry, delicious palate, bright acidity accompanies white peach, grapefruit and a saline note before finishing on a hint of white almond. It’s an incredible value at this price point.”
Pieropan’s estate covers 35 hectares of vineyard, all of which are situated on the stony hills of Soave Classico in the north-east corner of Italy. The Pieropan family have been producing wines in Soave since the 1860`s and work from three organically farmed vineyards today. They were the first producer to bottle a wine with the name Soave on the label in the early 1930`s, and this well-known wine made from the Garganega grape remains their speciality, along with a small production of Valpolicella they release each year.
