“Very pale gold. Smells both smoky and very ripe. Sour apricot and dried grasses. Tannic but not aggressively so. Great combination of texture, ripeness and freshness – even though the variety has typically quite soft acidity. Scented on the finish and attractively sour. Very long.”

One of two releases of Kortpad Kaaptoe in 2021! This is the skin contact version, with a lovely gentle golden colour. Dried apricots, white pepper, matcha green tea powder and exotic bazaar like spices – dried ginger and saffron. Lovely weight and mouth-coating texture and excellent length.
