“Stunning floral aromas underpinned by a core of sumptuous red fruit, with a soft pillow of velvety tannins, a strawberry acidity and a deliciously long finish.”
From 1683, the Sautereau family have produced wine in the village of Crézancy, seven kilometres southwest of Sancerre. The winery is run by the family’s tenth generation, David Sautereau, who makes modern, attractive wines that offer excellent value for money. His careful, orderly approach in his small, immaculate cellar is reflected in the purity of his wines which he describes as “sincere Sancerre”.
The Sancerre Rosé, made solely from Pinot Noir, is defined by notes of bright strawberry and raspberry fruit aromas.
