“From a single plot in Rocche dell’Annunziata, this Barolo ages for 18 months in big oak vessels. On the nose there’s a smoky-graphite character with intoxicating mint and violet scents, some milkiness in depth and a lot of delicacy. Refined, polished tannins dominate the palate, with integrated oak, red currants, brilliant acidity and a bright fruit finish. A slightly modern Barolo, but classic Annunziata. One for the long haul due to the freshness and the elegance of the tannins.”
Vinified with Nebbiolo grapes from several small vineyards, it is aged for 18 months in oak barrels. An elegant and soft Barolo, characterized by floral and fruity aromas of rose and plum. On the palate the tannins balance perfectly with the fruit, revealing notes of raspberry and cherry.
