Product Description
This Premier Cru is located at the heart of the Beaune appellation, above the Beaune Theurons. The Aux Cras vineyard is very well located. It is South-East oriented at an altitude of 260 m on a rather steep slope. The soil is not very deep, it is very stony (explaining its name: Cras=formerly a quarry). Destemmed grapes ferment in vats for 3 to 4 weeks. Aging takes place in oak barrels produced by cooperage Cadus for 18 months.
