“Fermented and aged in large sized oak casks, this is another successful vintage of Les Clans, holding its place in my estimation as the most enjoyable of the ‘luxury’ rosés. Delicate yet hugely gulpable with traces of rose petal, orange peel, citrus, raspberry and redcurrant. It has the barest hint of oak in terms of satin texture and expansion through the palate, but not getting in the way of a saline kick on the finish.”

Product Description
It is safe to say that Château D’Esclans is the only rosé producer to be able to achieve this style of wine with such concentration. In a blind tasting, most sommeliers and wine experts would guess it is a White Burgundy like Meursault or Chassagne-Montrachet. Approachable when young, yet a rosé which can be aged.
Ripe red berry aromas with toasty and hazel nut notes. Full-bodied, yet elegant. Ripe pineapple and ginger notes with hints of black licorice, making for a rich and exotic palate. Elegant, long a juicy with a suave finish.
