“Fermented with partial whole-bunch fruits to maintain the freshness, this wine was aged on skins for 6 months in qvevri, before it was naturally clarified and lightly filtered. Amber in colour with kumquat, sun-dried apricot and marzipan on the nose, candied orange peel, dried peach and tangerine zest on the palate, supported by muscular but polished tannins, thanks to controlled extraction. Fantastic depth, the lovely dried apricot notes follow to the long finish. Produced by brothers Levan and Georgi Chychynadze in Kakheti.”

Product Description
Tiko Estate Kisi 2021 is an orange qvevri wine from the Kakheti region of Georgia. This traditional Georgian style of wine was made from white Kisi grapes. The wine was kept with the grape skins in qvevris (amphorae) for six months. Concentrated, complex and aromatic, with notes of dried apricots and ripe peaches. A pronounced tannic structure is counterbalanced by vibrant acidity, and a long honeyed finish.
