Before allowing the Vajras to buy the little property 14 years ago he booked a visit at Vajra via friends in Rome. It was only two years ago that Luigi Baudana disclosed to the Vajras which fruit in the vineyard he thought best.
“Rich nose and broad. The Sauvignon is actually not too obvious – it’s apparently picked very ripe. Harmonious. Lots of fun. Clean but rich and floral.”
