Product Description
We are a small family owned wine business, which officially came to be in January 2016. We aim to produce honest wines, that tell a story about where the grapes are from and the passionate farmers cultivating these special and unique vineyards. Our wine-making philosophy is pretty simple; we try to make wines with minimal interference in the winery. We truly believe that the special vineyards and unique sites where our grapes come from significantly influence our wines. We don’t add yeast, acid, enzymes, or fining agents, and we only use older neutral oak barrels for maturation.
Sourced from Piekenierskloof, Lourens Family Wines Skuinskap Steen 2022 is one of South Africa’s finest fine Chenin’s, renowned for its minerality and structure. Exciting to drink, with so much energy.
